Joseph Kagumba was declared a Lotto winner of 1million on the draw held on Saturday 8th September 2018.
Joseph has been playing Lotto since 2015 after he learnt about it through media, mainly Lotto TV advertisements that eventually caught his eye.
The 56-year-old who resides in Thika continued to play Lotto despite only winning small amounts since he started in 2015.
His main source of encouragement was the knowledge that every KES50 spent by him and other players daily went to charity.
For Joseph, his soft spot for charity came as a result of his father’s long ailment and suffering. He vouched never to let anyone suffer as his father did.
With his Lotto winnings Joseph can now regularly support three women in his neighborhood. The three are single mothers with children to take care of and once in a while he is their savior.
Joseph is a father of four with the two eldest, a son and daughter now employed. Today because of lotto he can comfortably pay fees for the other three are in primary school
He will also use some of the money to boost his wife’s businesses too “because she is very hardworking”.
Joseph will further send his mother some funds, as she waits for her own lucky day with Lotto. He has agreed also fund her so she can play every day.
He like his mother still plays Lotto, at least four times a week without fail.
