Mbunza Mwendwa’s life changed when he won KES 1 Million with Lotto on the Supa Sunday Draw held on August 12th.
Already the roars of a motorcycle can be heard as he moves from his home in Nzalai, Kitui West. A distance he previously had to pay money to cover. The motorbike is one of the items Mbunza bought with part of the money he won.
In 2015, Mbunza discovered Lotto and began to play. Unfortunately, he stopped playing because he fell ill. When he returned to his shop, He was discouraged on almost everything that had to do with spending.
However, Mbunza says Lotto kept sending him messages to encourage him to play and one day, in April 2016, he decided to return to the game.
Mbunza borrowed some money and bought himself a TV, where, among other things, he saw many people win huge sums with Lotto. He then started to play Lotto at least once every day, despite a few discouraging voices from his peers.
The peers are now shocked. Mbunza has made them believe after he confirmed having started using the money he won from Lotto.
Mbunza always wanted to own a motorbike to help him transport goods he purchases from suppliers. Now, courtesy of Lotto, he has bought one.
Mbunza will not only be able to transport goods but also use the motorbike as another source of income. He will employ someone to use it as a boda boda.
The rest of the money will go towards helping some of his siblings. One already sat her Form Four examinations, she will further her education. He has been helping pay school fees for one of his sisters from his shop’s proceeds. He hopes she will get a job soon.
Mbunza is very thankful to Lotto. He wants everyone to play Lotto. He is also grateful to Lotto for helping the needy through the Lotto Foundation.
